At Band-A-Oke, we don't care if you can sing or can't sing. We don't care if you forget the words, sing out of tune or get a little nervous. What matters is that you get up there, have some fun and give it your best shot!

We've created a welcoming, supportive, family-style atmosphere where everyone is encouraged to be themselves, make new friends, share a laugh and enjoy the magic of live music.

It doesn't matter how old you are, where you come from, what you look like, who you love or what your musical ability is.

Everyone is welcome. Everyone is equal. Everyone deserves their moment in the spotlight.

There's one golden rule at Musicland Band-A-Oke:

WE LIFT PEOPLE UP. WE DON'T PUT PEOPLE DOWN!

It takes guts to stand in front of a crowd and sing, and we respect every single person who has the courage to do it.

Booing, heckling, nasty comments, ridicule or making anyone feel uncomfortable will NOT be tolerated.

If you come along to judge, criticise or put someone down, Band-A-Oke isn't the place for you.

Anyone behaving negatively towards a performer will be called out, and if necessary, asked to leave.

We're here to encourage, applaud, support and celebrate each other, regardless of how anyone sounds.

If someone gets up and gives it a go, they're already a rock star in our eyes! 🤘
